The Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl is an annual event where participants, donned in their ugliest holiday sweaters, visit various pubs and bars in a festive, group setting. It’s a night of fun, laughter, and holiday cheer.

What is the best Ugly Sweater Bar Crawl in San Francisco?

There are a few other Ugly Sweater Crawls in the city on 12/16, but Sweatercon will have the best specials, best bars and the most awesome crowd.

When is the Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl taking place?

The event is scheduled for Saturday, December 16, starting at 4PM and ending at 10PM.

What bars are participating in the Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl?

Mayes, Wreck Room, El Lopo, McTeagues, Route 101, Lush Lounge, R Bar, Decodance and more!

Where is the Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl happening?

The crawl will take place on Polk Street in San Francisco and the check-in location will be Mayes Oyster House. A map of the participating pubs and bars will be provided on our website and at the starting point.

How can I register for the event?

You can register online at SweaterCon.com. Simply click on the ‘Buy Tickets’ button and follow the instructions. Early registration is recommended as the price will increase over time.

How much are tickets to the Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl?

Tickets for the event start at $12 and increase as the event date gets closer. Tickets available on Eventbrite.

What is included with the tickets?

Your ticket includes an official Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl wristband, which grants you access to all participating pubs and exclusive drink specials. The event will also include DJs, party favors, a Find The Gnome contest and more.

Are there any age restrictions for the event?

Yes, participants must be 21 years or older to join the Pub Crawl, as it involves visiting multiple bars. Valid photo ID is required at registration and might be checked at various pubs.

What should I wear to the Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl?

An ugly sweater is definitely recommended! The more outrageous, the better. Feel free to accessorize with festive hats, scarves, or any holiday-themed attire. You don’t need to dress up, however everything is more fun in a costume.

Will there be prizes for the Find the Gnome Contest?

Yes! If you find one of the lucky gnomes hidden in the participating bars, bring it to Mayes Oyster House to receive a CrawlSF gift bag and a CrawlSF Season Pass for 2024.

Are drinks included in the registration fee?

While the registration fee doesn’t cover drinks, participants will enjoy exclusive drink specials at each pub. The list of specials at each bar will be emailed before the event.

How can I stay updated on event details?

Keep an eye on our website and our social media channels. We’ll post regular updates, including any changes to the schedule, participating pubs, and special announcements.

Is transportation provided between bars?

Participants are expected to move between pubs on their own. However, all of the bars are very close, so you won’t have to walk very far.

Can I bring guests who aren’t participating in the pub crawl?

Guests are welcome to join at the pubs but won’t have access to the special deals and contests without an official wristband.

What safety measures are in place?

We prioritize the safety of all participants. Security will be present throughout the event, and we encourage everyone to drink responsibly.

Can I get a refund if I can’t attend?

Unfortunately, registration fees are non-refundable. However, you can transfer your registration to someone else up before the event.
